As a designer, you will be responsible for design and detailing of retail showrooms of our existing large and small formats. You will be responsible for the adaptation of the brand guidelines and implement those in the projects.

Job description

Improvising existing showroom layouts, display planning as per the standard guidelines and concept, participate in the design and detailing process.
Understanding the site and its constraints by visiting the site, reading measurement documents and coordinating with the execution teams.
Work closely with the associate draftsmen to ensure that drawing quality and precision is not compromised.
Generate GFC sets, maintaining consistency in the drawings with a good level of detailing.
Generate MEP and other services intent drawings. Coordinating with partners and store team on detailed service drawings.
Generate accurate estimates for BOQ with detailed specifications.
To take complete ownership of all rectification/renovation projects.
Assist in creating related documents to support the design review with partners.
Pre and Post execution site reviews.
To maintain digital and physical project records.
Coordinate with operations, project managers, site surveyors and project designers to better assist in the overall process.

Essential skills

Must be familiar with retail layout planning concepts.
Must have experience in planning and drafting MEP services like; Lighting, Electrical, HVAC etc.
Must have real time site experience and understanding of the structural elements of buildings.
Must have a strong proficiency with AutoCAD 2018 or higher
Must have a strong proficiency with Sketchup pro.
Detail-oriented, resourceful and be able to adapt to fast changing needs and shifting priorities.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external clients
Ability to work well and deliver within stipulated timelines
Good communication, presentation and vendor management skills
Must have a good understanding of materials, aesthetics and retail planning.
